Website Design Principles

I want to know advice on which animationtools are the best for character animation!! read details too!?
I already have a 3D animator who will do the project. To determine where we are going I have done some research on which specific tools exist. I came up with:
- Swift3D
- LightWave
- Puppetmaster
anymore or better ….
I only have tested today Swift3D that not really impressed me I have had a look at 3D animation about 10 years ago and I guess I expected more.
So what is the best tool!!!
The project is an animation for our company website of a Doll kind of figure that needs to be able to dress differently (so in principle changing/designing clothes) textures etc would be great!!
We are a small Brazilian/Dutch Fashion company that wants to have a very unique presentation of our product (fashion) on the web based on Flash
There are TONS of software that can do the job. Poser is a good one – with pre-built models and behaviors. 3D Studio Max is excellent, but has a high learning curve. Swift3D is good but not robust enough for what I think you need. Lightwave wins the contest I believe.
Of course, the top of the line, all-time best product is Maya – but may take a while to master. Some of the best character animation is done with Lightwave and Maya. Look into those. There are also limited use versions of both that could help you in the short term.
